For people who want a photo as a starting point, the final say over portions and ingredients, and a useful connection between food, goals, and daily habits.
ReadPlate estimates nutrition; it does not measure every ingredient from a photo or replace medical advice.
What you can do
Start with the camera or photo library, review an AI nutrition estimate, and adjust portions, grams, and ingredients before saving.
Look up a barcode, read a nutrition label on-device or with optional cloud AI, and save a reviewed label match for next time.
Log meals, see calorie and macro targets, and review nutrition trends. Pro adds advanced analytics and Insights access.
Pro includes weekly meal planning and shopping lists. Plans use a labeled template fallback when AI is unavailable.
Premium lets you save ingredients and your entered nutrition per serving, then log a serving or add it to your plan.
Premium supports Apple Health nutrition and activity sync with your permission. Weight sync is not currently available.
Track water, choose optional eating windows and reminders, and explore goal-program templates. Calorie-Light Mode hides calories in the Diary summary; other screens still show them.
Premium progress photos stay in the on-device album and are never analyzed by AI. Import supported CSV food logs and export personal account data as JSON.

Questions
ReadPlate is an iPhone nutrition app, formerly NutriAI. It combines meal-photo estimates, a food diary, nutrition goals, planning tools, and everyday habits. You review food estimates before saving them.
A photo cannot reveal every ingredient or exact portion. Treat the result as an estimate, review the ingredients and amounts, and add anything the scan missed before saving. Nutrition information is informational and is not medical advice.
Premium includes every Pro feature, unlimited meal entries, the largest daily AI scan allowance, recipes, progress photos, Apple Health sync, and enhanced online AI guidance. AI use still has daily and service limits.
Supported meal changes can stay on this device and signed-in meal records sync when connected. Cloud AI needs an internet connection; on-device nutrition-label reading can work offline.
Progress photos stay in the on-device album. They are never analyzed by AI. Sharing is your choice. This is different from meal-photo scans, which can use cloud AI; see the privacy policy for details.
Yes, with an active Premium entitlement, your opt-in, and Apple Health permissions. It can save meal nutrition and read activity, steps, and energy context. Weight sync is not currently available.
Foodle connections and restaurant options depend on availability, rollout, and account setup. Current Foodle TestFlight orders are simulated. You review and confirm a linked order before it enters your diary.
This website is available in English, Arabic, Russian, and Spanish. The website screenshots show the app in English; website translations do not establish which interface languages an installed app build supports.
